Arcane Parchment Privacy Policy

Supersis, Inc. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Arcane Parchment iPad application (the "App"), an interactive experience in which handwriting drawn on a virtual parchment is read by an artificial-intelligence model that writes a short reply back onto the same surface. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles and how. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Handwriting Images

When you finish writing and the App submits your question, an image of the handwritten area (which may contain whatever you chose to write) is transmitted to our server and forwarded to our AI processor to generate a reply. The App does not require an account, and we do not collect your name, e-mail address, or phone number.

1.2 Automatically Collected Data

Our servers may temporarily record technical data necessary to operate the service, such as IP address, request metadata, and error logs.

1.3 Advertising Data (only in versions that show ads)

If a version of the App displays advertising, Google AdMob may collect device advertising identifiers (IDFA/IDFV), coarse device information, and SKAdNetwork conversion data. Personalized advertising is used only if you grant permission through the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt; otherwise only non-personalized ads are served. 2. How We Use Information

  • To generate the AI reply to your handwritten input;
  • To operate, secure, and debug the service;
  • (Ad-enabled versions only) to display and measure advertising.

3. AI Processing and Service Providers

Handwriting images are processed on our behalf by Anthropic, PBC(United States) via its Claude API to read the handwriting and generate the reply. Under Anthropic's API data policy, API inputs are not used to train Anthropic's models. Our server infrastructure is hosted on Amazon Web Services. Ad-enabled versions use Google AdMob. These providers process data solely to deliver their respective services to us.

4. Data Retention

Handwriting images are relayed for reply generation and are not stored in our databases. Operational and error logs are retained for up to 90 days and then deleted. Conversations are kept only in the App's memory on your device and disappear when the App is closed.

5. International Transfer

The Company is a U.S. corporation, and the providers listed above process data in the United States. By using the App you acknowledge that your information is processed in the United States.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your Rights and Choices

  • You may contact us at any time to ask questions about, or request deletion of, data associated with your use of the App;
  • You can withdraw tracking permission at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking;
  • Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may have additional rights such as access, correction, and deletion.

8. Security

All transmissions use TLS encryption. API credentials are stored in managed secret storage, and we collect the minimum data necessary to operate the App.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App or on this page, with the effective date updated above.

Supersis, Inc.(이하 "회사")는 iPad 애플리케이션 Arcane Parchment(이하 "앱")을 운영합니다. 앱은 가상의 양피지에 손글씨를 쓰면 인공지능이 이를 읽고 같은 화면에 짧은 답을 써 주는 서비스입니다. 본 방침은 앱이 어떤 정보를 어떻게 처리하는지 설명합니다.

1. 수집하는 정보

손글씨 이미지 — 질문 제출 시 필기 영역의 이미지(작성한 내용 포함 가능)가 회사 서버를 거쳐 AI 처리사로 전송됩니다. 앱은 계정이 필요 없으며 이름·이메일·전화번호를 수집하지 않습니다.

자동 수집 정보 — 서비스 운영에 필요한 IP 주소, 요청 메타데이터, 오류 로그가 일시적으로 기록될 수 있습니다.

광고 데이터(광고 표시 버전에 한함) — Google AdMob이 광고 식별자(IDFA/IDFV), 기기 정보, SKAdNetwork 전환 데이터를 수집할 수 있습니다. 맞춤 광고는 iOS 추적 허용(ATT)에 동의한 경우에만 제공되며, 동의하지 않으면 비맞춤 광고만 표시됩니다.

2. 이용 목적

AI 응답 생성, 서비스 운영·보안·오류 대응, (광고 표시 버전에 한해) 광고 표시 및 성과 측정.

3. AI 처리 및 처리위탁

손글씨 이미지는 Anthropic, PBC(미국)의 Claude API를 통해 판독·응답 생성 목적으로 처리됩니다. Anthropic의 API 데이터 정책상 API 입력은 모델 학습에 사용되지 않습니다. 서버 인프라는 Amazon Web Services에서 운영되며, 광고 표시 버전은 Google AdMob을 사용합니다.

4. 보유 기간

손글씨 이미지는 응답 생성을 위해 전달될 뿐 데이터베이스에 저장되지 않습니다. 운영·오류 로그는 최대 90일 보관 후 삭제됩니다. 대화 내용은 기기의 앱 메모리에만 존재하며 앱 종료 시 사라집니다.

5. 국외 이전

회사는 미국 법인이며, 위 수탁사들은 미국에서 데이터를 처리합니다.

6. 아동의 개인정보

앱은 만 13세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 해당 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다.

7. 이용자의 권리

이용 관련 데이터에 대한 문의·삭제 요청은 아래 연락처로 할 수 있습니다. iOS 설정 > 개인정보 보호 및 보안 > 추적에서 추적 허용을 언제든 철회할 수 있습니다. 관할 법령(GDPR, CCPA 등)에 따라 열람·정정·삭제 등의 권리를 가질 수 있습니다.

8. 보안 조치

모든 전송은 TLS로 암호화되며, API 자격증명은 관리형 비밀 저장소에 보관하고, 운영에 필요한 최소한의 데이터만 수집합니다.

9. 방침의 변경

본 방침이 변경될 수 있으며, 중요한 변경은 앱 또는 본 페이지를 통해 고지하고 상단의 시행일을 갱신합니다.
